designs THAT Matter, count, last, feel, live, work, resonate...

ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME, a communication and multi media design student at the university of applied sciences of Amsterdam. UI/UX, Front-End and Visual designs that speak. With an empathic approach and a research-driven mindset, I focus on shaping impactful brands and intuitive multi-media experiences. My aim is to bridge creativity and functionality, turning ideas into designs that connect with you.

Culture and heart

CULTURE AND HEART, I don’t see design as simply making something look pretty, it has to carry meaning. For me, this way of thinking began when I first created something that held personal significance. Designing with cultural strength, and looking back to my own roots, is what truly sparked my love for design. As a Pa’o, a descendant of Maluku, I see design as more than a creative practice, it’s a tool for awareness, reflection, and in my opinion even decolonization. Through design, I search for connection between heritage and the present, between identity and expression. It’s my way of making meaning visible.

Professional work

PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE, I approach design as a process of discovery, a constant dialogue between intuition, research, and iteration. I believe that strong design emerges from understanding context and testing ideas through tangible prototyping. I thrive in an iterative workflow, where prototyping, feedback and reflection lead the way. Each version teaches something new, shaping the concept until it fits its purpose naturally. My process is guided by curiosity and adaptability, always searching for what feels right, not just what looks right. Whether I am working on visual systems, interactive experiences, or conceptual explorations, I aim to build designs that make sense, function clearly, and connect meaningfully with people.
